(Wye) Black Angus
Coming from the town of Wye in Maryland, the "Wye" Angus breed is a closed breeding program from the University of Maryland. Bred for grass genetics and excellent marbling, Wye Angus is extremely hearty, require low inputs, and never miss a beat during calving season. South Poll
The South Poll is a fairly new breed of cattle developed by Teddy Gentry with one goal in mind. Develop a smaller frame cow with excellent meat quality, performs on fescue based pastures, adverse to endophyte toxicity, easy calving, and slick haired to tolerate the southeast's heat and humidity. This 4 breed cross consists of Hereford, Red Angus, Senepol, and Barzona.
